Remembering the Legacy of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan
Welcome to our historical website which seeks to capture many of the insightful moments of Yoshimitsu Yamada, 8th Dan Shihan that he shared with his students during his many seminars in Europe through personal stories.
With the passing of Yamada Shihan, we felt it was important to share these stories and experiences with the aikido community. This website tries to capture the legacy of Yamada Sensei in Europe. However, we would also like to invite our aikido family in the USA, Canada, South America and elsewhere to share such moments with us.
This is the beginning of exploring many of Yamada Sensei’s intimate moments with his students.
